Rachel and Scott’s Wedding

Rachel and Scott got married on World Cup Final Day. For a short, while they thought England were going to be at the final and had a contingency plan in place for their day’s running order to accommodate watching it! Their day was small and intimate, inviting close family and friends. Their plan was to find somewhere in Cornwall where they could stay for a weeks holiday, following the wedding, somewhere dog friendly too, so they could bring their dog, Buddy. Weather dependent, they really wanted an English Country Garden style wedding outside, a relaxed, romantic and fun day.

“We chose Cosawes Barton; the setting made our day so special. It is the most gorgeous relaxed setting, beautiful grounds, so well kept, an amazing natural aisle and arbour for an outdoor wedding. The most hospitable and accommodating hosts in Louise and Andy (nothing was too much trouble) and the fabulous sunshine completed the picture! The venue also allowed our closest family and us to stay together in three different beautiful barn conversions and meant we had the placeexclusively to ourselves for the wedding day and the duration of our stay. It was perfect for an English country garden style wedding. We had the most perfect, gloriously sunny day – it couldn’t have been any more perfect.”

Their theme was English Country Garden. Rachel and Scott had ideas about what they wanted. Still, Hazel, Louise, and Andy helped bring them to life, along with Stargazey Wedding Decor’s help to help fulfil the styling and create the look and style they wanted with a couple of extra bits of signage created by the groom.

Jo Chatterley MUA made Rachel and her daughter look like a million dollars! They both had relaxed boho style curls, with individual hairpieces, Rachels was supplied and made by Jo Chatterley Daisy’s small pearl, and diamante daisy hair grips were by White Designs. Rachel wore a dress by Allure in antique ivory and silver. The most perfect dress, for the most perfect day, she felt amazing! The bridal shoes? Jimmy Choo’s – what else!!

Jen at Twigs and Greens created amazing floral arrangements. The bride and bridesmaids bouquets, the buttonholes, flowers for the arbour, many scattered down the aisle, the aisle chairs, wedding breakfast tables and wedding breakfast area arrangements.

“They were simply stunning and just added the extra special finishing touches to a stunning location.”

Indulgence Catering was chosen for the wedding breakfast and from the canapes to the wedding breakfast and wedding cake.

“Rebecca and her team were absolutely fabulous! The food was delicious, the menu choices were great, and the team were discreet, professional and friendly. The cake was exactly what I’d hoped for and perfectly matched what we’d asked Rebecca to create.”
