Megan and Sam both agreed they would be happiest with just a small number of their closest family and friends in attendance on their special day so Megan typed ‘small weddings’ into Google and discovered Cosawes Barton, the 90-metre lime grove at this stunning venue just one of it’s many features sealed the deal.
“I was able to imagine us at one of the venues straight away and the 90-metre lime grove was a huge selling point for me! I showed Sam the venue that evening and he said ‘Let’s book it!”
Their theme was a nod to nature Sam works for a Wildlife Trust so they opted for rustic-style decorations and also used their tandem as a prop! Coming from out of county planning can become a little more tricky so Megan and Sam chose to book us for their on the day co-ordination.
“We really appreciated Hazel speaking with us on the phone on several occasions to discuss our plans for the day. Hazel made sure everything went as it should and we had an amazing time.”
Megan looked stunning on the day as she walked down the 90-metre lime grove towards her soon to be husband. She wore a full-length ivory gown with a lace bodice and pretty detailing to the back, she also chose to wear and a small train and gypsophila in her hair, which her late Grandma used to love. The celebrations were captured by Emma Griffin from Griffin Photography.
“Sam’s response, when I asked what his favourite part of the day was ‘The bit when we got married, of course!’ I feel the same. We also both loved how informal and relaxed the day was. Everything went smoothly and our guests seemed to enjoy themselves as much as we did”
