For Rosie and Ryan planning started in their home town and they did get as far as booking their venue, but it wasn’t what they wanted. So instead, they started planning a small intimate wedding in Cornwall
, and their chosen venue was Cosawes Barton. Cornwall is their special place, it’s where they went on their first holiday as a couple, and it’s where Ryan popped the question!
The theme for the day Rosie would describe as ‘perfectly imperfect’. The barn was decorated with wild, untamed florals, mix ‘n’ match brass candlesticks, burgundy table runners and candles, lots of candles. This created the relaxed celebration they wanted. Their day was a gathering of their closest friends and family to eat fantastic food and drink great wine. On the menu roast beef and turkey dinner with all the trimmings and according to the bride, the most incredible cheesy cauliflower. Dessert was a trio of mini desserts.
Planning a wedding out of county can be tricky, so having a wedding co-ordinator can really help before the big day and on the day. In Rosie’s own words…
On the day Rosie wore a Melissa Sweet gown and carried the most stunning bouquet by the very talented Lisa of Down by the River Florals. The groom looked dapper in his Twisted Tailor tuxedo as he and their dog waited for their bride to arrive. The day was perfectly topped off with more wedding photos, but this time it was just the two of them in the beautiful grounds of Cosawes Barton. A day captured perfectly by Wedding Photographer
